my prediction - 'sold out'
Cmon now. We know the shipment was between 350k and 500k. We got reports for 350k first then some other source said 500k then some other source said 400k. So its somewhere in there. And I dont expect the entire shipment to have sold out across the entire country in its first day. So Im thinking 200kish? Wouldnt be surprised if it were lower. The userbase is only 5m, and lots of those are new gamers that know nothing of Smash. I cant see much more than 200k bothering to rush out and get it day one.
It will be bigger than Galaxy easily, but I still think we are going way overboard with the 500k first day crazyness, thats not happening.
I say 600k at most.

Well the couple of stores that I've checked out here in Nagoya (pretty big city) since the release yesterday have all been sold out, so...
Though, in another thread they said a second shipment was supposed to be coming 2/2 (tomorrow) from Nintendo.
