I was considering passing on the next gen consoles but Xbox One will be day 1 purchase. Loving the TV, Skype, multitasking, kinect 2.0 integration for the big screen in the living room. I know my HTPC can do the same, but its hell of a lot more messy and you still have to deal with a keyboard and mouse of somesort...

In terms of gaming, nothing that interests me was shown, but the new DRM has absolutely no effect on me.

Well you still have the Wii-U if not PS4 when Sony announces a similar thing if they do that is.

It'll be a sad day if the Wii U is considered. You can't even backup your saves!

That's enough for a student and an outgoing person like me. Everything they said was appealing to me.

Everything else is just speculation that people are blowing out of proportion. E3 is gonna decide if I'm gonna continue with my decision.

That's kind of how I see that analogy. I was dating this cool girl named Xboxina and we had some fun times, but then she started using drugs and wouldn't do much of anything without them. She needed money to feed her habit and I just couldn't do it anymore. She did a full "360" and moonwalked out of my life.

To this very day, I don't get why especially Americans say this (none of my Australian and British friends say it). If she did a 360, it means she didn't move at all. 180? Great, but 360? What does that even mean?

I'm not an Xbox fan but i liked playing the Xbox 360 at my friends house. But even they think this is a disaster and i personally don't see it changing much at E3

So the fee for playing used games doesn't affect you at all? It doesn't even bother you?

What about their push for entertainment and TV services over gaming? You don't feel like they're pushing gamers aside?
