Look I hate to be jumping on the bandwagon of the Xbox hate here but how many people still have SDTVs?

What about outside America?

I was gong to be one of those, I own all three consoles this gen, I guess fuck me

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

In the U.S and Europe this wont be a problem for most people I think. But outside of those regions this will screw a lot of people.

Although if you have the money to pay for a gaming console, then you have money for a HD TV, so in the end the amount of people that are getting screwed by this weren't going to get a Xbox One in the first place.

That little port next to the ethernet is for old school AV output. I saw it labeled earlier in some pics. Check around the web and you should find it.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

does it matter, the console is obviously an entertainment hub. how much entertainment are you really going to get with an old school SDTV

I'll tell you what you wont get with a nice CRT. A boat load of lag. I love CRT t.v's. Admittedly I wouldn't play HD games on them, but for Wii games they are perfect.

I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

This is true for the most part. However, there isn't lag on HD computer monitors and most HDTV's nowdays have settings to seriously decrease the lag.

XO is an emoticon though.  Also I'm pretty sure 1 will just make things more confusing then they already are with this name

why don't you make a thread to complain about the fact that the Xbox One probably won't cure cancer?

I don't know anyone who has not at least a HD Ready TV. Even as a 2nd option in the basement. Even my 78 years old grandma has an HDTV.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
