The title confuses me, I enjoyed the presentation and the things you list don't seem like blunders but smart decisions for the console and the gaming market, I guess everything. Is subjective.

#7 is the thing I really don't like. Is that confirmed to be true? It won't even have the pull out HDD like the 360 slim?

If it's true they better have a 1TB drive model at launch.

Trust me, I think the console isn't that bad. I like a lot of those features, however, I can't give myself a reason to buy a full console just for features I want. I would totally buy a kinect and tv tuner thing if they sold it separately.

My thread is more of a list of all the things that have made us frown today.

I'm not saying they didn't make business decisions, I'm saying part of good business decision involves the consumer, and from a consumer standpoint, it's going to be really hard to justify a console requiring an internet connection, or not being able to let your friend borrow a game, or kinect recording your personal life.

Even though the giant enemy crabs where amusing I still think it was a better launch then the N64.  All they had was Mario 64 a game I still haven't played and I owned a N64.  Also lets not forget about the Sega Saturn it was overpriced and had even fewer good games then the N64.

Not a big problem it will support external storage devices and has USB 3.0.

It's a design thing, an extra box you'll need when the future should be about trimming down, not adding.
