Would you say they just did that?

Relax, just teasing you for the "it's true because I always said so!" thing.

Right? It's not an activation fee, you're just buying the damn game.

Plus the used game price that you payed at the store... did I get that right?

So, I'll hold off commenting on this matter until we get some more solid info on it. All I'm seeing is tonnes of conflicting information all over the place.

One thing's for sure; at least between here, reddit & neogaf, Microsoft haven't really been able to keep a lid on this conference. Huge amounts of "will it play used games, won't it play used games?" posts everywhere.

CVG editor claims Phil Harrison reaffirmed re-purchasing online games issue with him and declined to comment on "connected every 24 hours" requirement.

What a clusterfuck.

It´s AMAZING how everyone fucks up with the third console!

Nintendo fucked things up with the N64.

Sega with the Saturn.

Sony with the PS3.

And now MS with the Xbox One.

Just what the hell?

Xbox One and Used Games

We know there is some confusion around used games on Xbox One and wanted to provide a bit of clarification on exactly what we’ve confirmed today. While there have been many potential scenarios discussed, today we have only confirmed that we designed Xbox One to enable our customers to trade in and resell games at retail.

Beyond that, we have not confirmed any specific scenarios.

Another piece of clarification around playing games at a friend’s house – should you choose to play your game at your friend’s house, there is no fee to play that game while you are signed in to your profile.

LOL. An admirable attempt to spin even as he's confirming all the worst aspects of this bullshit.

funny indeed.
