Microsoft's Xbox One is going to cost £399, if a retailer leak is to be believed.

Though Microsoft has just announced the Xbox One, it hasn't yet officially revealed the price of the next-gen Xbox.

UK-retailer Zavvi, however, has gone live with its pre-order scheme, revealing the price of the Xbox One in the UK to be £400.

Though this could be an estimate on Zavvi's part, it ties in with Paul Thurrott's claims that the Xbox One will cost around in the US.

The Xbox One is confirmed to be releasing this year, though a more specific date hasn't been provided. Microsoft will likely aim to release the Xbox One towards the end of 2013.

We'll have a look around at other retailers for possible price listings of the Xbox One, but the majority of websites offering a pre-order scheme aren't hinting at the price or release date at all.

I persume this to be $499 but this is only a rumour

500... hot damn. Much to high for the general market. With sony probably not going to make the same mistake and nintendo going to sneaky price cut, 500 is a bit hefty.

399 Pounds?! For real? Expensive.

Well from the latest 399 Euro/Dollars PS4 slip from SCE India it looks like PS4 will edge it out on this as well if true.



So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Kinect probably adds alot to the cost, that launched at £130/ $150 when it first launched and this one is with every One console

Not sure why people keep reporting this type news after so many time this will be wrong(look WiiU's rumor price from stores before official announcement)

i have a feeling this kinect was akin to the origional one ie the version with built in hardware to beef it up, but was never released due to cost

because this will ship with every xbox1 it may add to the cost but then again sony also has a new camera thats likly bundled
