I'd much rather see Nintendo team up with Sony in that case... And besides, they're both Japanese so I think that more probable to happen than Nintendo+MS...

Party pooper
No. I don't want MS destroying Nintendo and having them start charging for online and using a symmetrical analog sticks and focusing on apps more than first party games which is what I play on Nintendo for.
Microsoft+Nintendo is the more logical joint venture.
Nintendo has that innocence theme, they're all about fun for every age. You can play retro looking games if you feel that nostalgic sentiment. The best platformers, JRPGs and casuals.
Microsoft on the other side is the mature and social side. Where the online community is the best established, their games are better supported by the 3rd parties, better Action/Adventure games etc...
All I'm saying is that by joining MS+NT is to get the best of the East and West. Balance.
MS/Nin makes more sense. Both have a history with Sony. And they help each other.
Nintendo has the power to make Japan buy less PS products, thus helping MS compensate in its stronger territories.
I hate the idea of Nintendo going third party, but I'd say this would be the best option if they did.
IUSING would rather Nintendo and Microsoft. Just makes more sense to combine east and west.

Problem is though, MS and Ninty are too different. The only common thing they have in common is that they're making games, and we all know MS didn't come in to this business just to make games. They want the livingroom - and that's not how Nintendo jives. They make games for a living. No more no less.
