when feburary's NPD is released.

with dark souls 2 launching this holiday on ps3 i don't technically need another console until around september 2014 lol.

that and i just don't want to buy a lemon so to speak. by mid march i'll know quite clearly if ps4 or nextbox are going to tank and if nintendo was able to reverse wiiU's fortunes. i'll have a pretty clear view to impending game releases (separate the early hype from the bullshit promises)

with all that said, i'll probably get a ps4. sony has done me well to date and earned a lot of good will with me.

Ah well. I already have a Wii U and at this point and time have no interest in buying anything else. In 2015, if Wii U is similar to Wii in the full lack of any AAA 3rd party title, then I'll buy the 2nd console that provides the best value... similart to why I bought a PS3 in 2010.

Oh, did they give a release date for dark souls 2 already? I haven't been keeping up with the news on the game.

I say right now 2 years+ after they are released. But likely I will get too excited and impulse buy one of them. They all have equal chance and hype level. Around 3 atm for all.

From what I've seen from the upcoming PS4 games I've been enjoying next-gen for quite some time now on my PC.

But disregarding the PC I already own a WiiU.

I will wait and see what the PS4 and NextBox have to offer. So far the PS4 hasn't got anything that interests me. GTA 5 is what I'm looking forward to the most right now and that will be available for my 360 and probably PC as well.

Depending on my financial situation in the next couple of years I might just stick with my Wii U or pick up a PS4/Xbox in the following years.

Will get NeXbox or PS4 this year depending on which one impresses me more. Then ill pick up the next one either the next year or the year after.
