I will be updating this weekly hopefully since we have so much talk about these two series as of late lol  Halo 4 may be cut short from the NeXbox launch but we will have to wait until then to see what happens.  Please guys, keep the arguments to an absolute minimum.  I know these threads do turn out badly sometimes so I will keep on it and the report button will always be insight.  no trolling, no flaming.  Keep it civil.

This is mainly for me and Pezus.  And yes I will be updating weekly until they stop selling.  And the meaning says right in the title btw.

A better thread is Reach VS GT5 as they came out close to each other, or maybe GT6 and Halo 4 at the end of the year.

Oh... I thought you said and complained that this kind of threads were only good to start flame wars and stir shit... -__-

In any case, Halo 4 probably won't match GT5's number so late in the generation and right before the NexBox releases.

Halo 5, on the other hand....

Yeah, when looking at weekly sales GT5 had a monster 2nd and 3rd holiday.  As you said, Halo 4 also has the NeXbox.  I may do a Halo 5 vs GT6 though when they release.  Or halo 5 and GT7. Idk if Halo 4 can do that.  me and Pezus was just discussing this a moment ago actually haha

H4 wont reach gt5 and gt6 wont pass H4

i'll give you credit on complying the data and updating it along with the other threads you got in your sig as that duty is alot of work

but to me the whole halo 4 reach ect. vs gt is getting old on here as of the last few days since the vgc update we all know what is what now with the update and micro analyzing them is unnecessary with 2-3 yr old games. i was the first to foresee gt5s outcome vs reach way back in early 2010 prior to both games release most of all these other threads seem like copycat threads or milking the subject

even in my thread i could go on and on making tables and re quote past post that are funny to read now in your current time and drag on the subject but dont the topic isnt as current or meaningful anymore. now if someone wants to do a tlou vs ( ) or even with some of the big fall release games like gta, cod AC even watch dogs then that would bring a breath of fresh air to SW sales debates on the forums

You are probably right.  however I dont see the subject dieing any time soon.  I'll Add GT6 to the thread when it comes out as well though maybe.

And good idea.  maybe GTA vs CoD since those are probably the two biggest third party games.

3 points.

1. Amazing for Halo 4 to hold up against a bigger franchise.

2. Both games held up very well over the holiday period (6 weeks) when up against blops/blops2.

3. GT5 most likely bundled its way past the 6.5 mil point, especially in Europe.

I know this is asking a lot but can you also do Reach Vs. GT5 (you could use my thread to track and see what Reach sold during the Holiday bundle 2011) and Halo 3 Vs. GT5?

I love these type of game comparison threads. I just find them fascinating.
