Rocky Horror Picture Show, the Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode of Manos and the Hands of Fate (awful movie thats painful to watch but MST 3000 makes up for it 100 fold), and the Japanese Dragon Ball movie, Goku = Poncho from Chips, FTW! uh I mean FTL but it is quite funny.

 *edit* Also all Tim Burton movies FTW! Expecially Vincent and Frankenweenie.

Also what amuses me is... I don't see many movies... yet i've seen most of these cult movies.

Nothing listed like the "Cult movie" conventions they have around.  Now those have some REAL cult movies... too bad most of them blow.

Cult Following:

Now considering Napoleon Dynamyte is considered "cult" and has a following include thousands and milion of World of Warcraft payers dancing like the main character Fight Club is a cult movie.

That's all fine and dandy but Fight Club had two of the biggest actors of the 90s in it (including the biggest star in Hollywood at the time) and did well at the box office.

I don't see how that fits that Wiki description at all. Napoleon Dynamite is a different story because it slowly built up momentum, more similarly to a film like Donnie Darko. A bunch of unknown/relatively unknown actors, unknown writers, unknown directors, low budget, etc.

Shit, Fight Club was directed by David Fincher, the guy who already had movies like Se7en, Alien3, and The Game under his belt.

The movie made over $100 million at the box office. The production budget was over $60 million dollars. Give it up, guys. Fight Club is not cult, no matter how you try to twist it.

David Fincher was a hit director with Se7en and The Game.

Brad Pitt was the biggest star in Hollywood.

Edward Norton was a rising star who had already hit it big in Rounders and American History X.

That's like saying Phantom Menace is cult because it polarized critics, yet there are still millions of Star Wars fans out there worshipping it. Meh.

PS. I love how you guys keep quoting Wikipedia at me as confirmation that it's a cult film. You do realize that I could probably go and slyly add a comment in Titanic that it has achieved cult status and it would stick, right?

Does the Robert Rodriguez flick Desperado count as cult, I don't think it's very well known or remembered and someone already said from Dusk till dawn. I love Desperado, it's awesome.
