The art style in Yarn Yoshi is absolutely spectacular IMO.  I only played a tiny bit of Epic Yarn (didn't really seem like my thing, to be honest), but what I can say is that I hope this game is more like Yoshi's Island and nothing like Yoshi's Story.

Amen. Even as a 10 year old I was intensely disappointed by Yoshis Story, it was such a step down from the amazing Yoshi's Island.
