OK... a partnership doesn't mean the changing of franchises... could just be future DLC for the game.... who wouldn't like extra characters to play?! Zelda, Link, Samus, Kid Icarus, etc... would be cool too.

I know that but with a name like "Mario Kart" you can't just dump sonic in on it. Or put Mario in Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing. It just doesn't make sense. Maybe as a secret character or something but putting other characters from sonic in Mario Kart would be dumb. Nintendo, hopefully, isn't that dumb. They have tons of other Mario characters to put in MK. If this is true, although I love the needle mouse, I would be super suprised.

I think it would add something really fresh to the Mario Kart series. All new levels, items and characters from both franchises.

Unless its using the same engine as Sonic transformed i dont see how its possible. Actually, i dont think its possible at all unless its beeing developed on the Nintendo side. Sumo digital released the 3DS version of transformed a few months ago. They cant possibly have had time to make a full game in one year unless they re-use assets.

lol, that would limit the sales of the game. "Mario Kart" is a brand is a megaton entity in itself. Sonic can be in it, but the name must remain undiluted.

wouldn't be that bad as sonic transformed was really good(sadly his jumpnruns arent anymore) and you have better chaces to win while in the lead than with mario cart.Sounds realistic since sonic is prostitut....since sega and nintendo have an exclusive deal
but as you can't have two different gameplay mechanics i suppose you will only get some sonic dlc + transforming abilities on these tracks and some charackters.

If they brought Sonic into Mario Kart, seriously, that would be awesome!
