they could have Mario Kart gameplay with Sonic characters added in for variety.  No harm done there.

Lol. Do you guys honestly believe that Nintendo would tarnish one of its most esteemed franchises by including characters from a very low-level third party dev? Lol.

Mario Kart & Sonic All-Stars Racing should remain separate franchises....... because they are BOTH the best kart racing games currently out there.

I would like to see Mario Kart with the addition of transformations & a few items from Sonic Racing Transformed and also the level up system to gain certain things.

I would also like some of the exotic tracks from Sonic Racing Transformed and/or untap Sega worlds for tracks to go side-by-side with Mario Kart Tracks in each cup.

Now that would be awesome.

A Mario/Sonic fusion kart racing game would be great......... but then we would get fewer kart racers.

Thats the only reason i want them to remain separate.

Its not like LBP Karting or F1 all stars are giving either of them competition anyway.

Oh God, please don't! Sonic ruins everything nowadays. He just had a racing game for 3Ds, Wii U, etc. Let Mario have his. Sheesh!

Pretty much this, hell the Arcade games already have Pacman, so its not to farfectched. As long as it dont interfere with Allstars which iMHO is the best kart series out now, epescially after the last one, its different enough that i can enjoy it and MK7 and hell Modnation too, its all good.

I would'nt mind sonic as a playable character in MK, but thats it. I want my MK the way I've always know it (with a few improvments offcaurse) and I don't want a Sonic roster alongside Mario's, with some Sonic car, tracks and Items...

All I would be ready to accept is the character of Sonic inside the roster of MK, and that character should'nt be different from the others in any way.
