Forums - Nintendo - Possible Nintendo Direct E3, “NintE3do Direct”, Timetable (Rumor)

What makes this especially interesting is the inclusion of catchy but never before seen phrases like "Ninte3do Direct and "Return to the Past", and odd references to things like Wii Zapper U and talking about the Star Wars games. I hope it's true. If it is, it's an information blitz that would trump any e3 conference, ever. I think might be, since we know Nintendo is really holding back info until e3.

Sounds way too good to be true unfortunately.

How do you figure? You don't think Nintendo would give various major publishers the chance to "star" in special Nintendo Directs?

Having said that, there's two things I find suspicious in terms of specifics:

1. Where's Warner Bros? It specifically lists a dedicated Disney Direct, but no WB Direct? Disney has released just one title for the Wii U so far, Epic Mickey 2. It has two more titles confirmed. Warner Bros, on the other hand, has already released four titles, with another one due for release in the US in two days, and have already announced three more, with likely more set for announcement.

I could excuse the absence of the Japanese publishers, like Atlus and Namco Bandai (despite both working on games starring first-party IP), but I just can't see WB, who has put a lot of support into the Wii U, being skipped in favour of Disney.

2. Two "TOP SECRET" Directs, sitting around Sega's and Square Enix's directs. For two reasons - first, with Square Enix's lineup so far being two ports, and the most likely Square Enix titles being major announcements (Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy), I can't see their one being revealed but two others being kept so secret. Second, why would their own planning documents list it as top secret? It would imply that the rest of the list was intended to be leaked, in which case the leak would be a lot more solid than a guy on a random blog saying that he may have info, but he's not yet certain it's even legitimate, himself.

Neither is a solid proof that it's fake. But both seem strange. I guess we'll find out in a few weeks.

If we get this many NDs the hype will be too much to handle.

Looks fake though.

Why do I think it's fake? Because it involved using "Nintendo" and "leak" in the same sentence.

Sure, there can be a leak from a specific department of Nintendo, or from third parties working closely with Nintendo (which is how the Wii U concept was leaked a couple of years back). But I don't see why such a department or third party would have access to Nintendo's entire Direct schedule and descriptions of what they'll be showing. That's the sort of thing that only management should have. So who leaked it? Reggie?

Looks great as a whole, that way Nintendo will remain relevant during the entire week of E3.

1 thing bugs be tho. June 10 they talk about WiifitU, Wii Zapper, Ubisoft, Disney and finaly the eshop... June 11th is what we are all looking for, Zelda, 3DMario, MK etc... YOU DO NOT OPEN E3 WITH WII FIT! You need to open with what we've been ALL waiting for since BEFORE LAST YEAR'S E3! I don't think I can possibly stand watching a whole other Nintendo Direct just to tell myself ONCE AGAIN ''the next one will be THE one''. I won't be able to endure this one more. To many disapointement. They need to open with what everyone have been waiting for.

Switch the '' Wii U & Nintendo 3DS Social Software''  with ''Wii U Software Showcase'' and this will be perfect.

Don't forget that Nintendodirects/Iwata Asks are videos which recorded way before the showing, and then get prepared for the show.
So to show this asks at E3 they need to make actual meetings 2-3 weeks before, and these leaks can go from one of the third parties who may've seen the full list somehow...

Good observations!

I wish this list turns out to be true, but I have my doubts...

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Could be true.

Would be awesome.
