No question, Halo.

Gran Turismo couldn't maintain sales as strong if it released as frequently as Halo games.

CoD started releasing once per year and sales increased. AC did the same. Where's the proof?

GT5 has been bundled so much and hit the bargain bin fast.

Halo has also been extensively bundled this gen, but since you nor I can prove just how much they've helped, this redunadant, pointless means of downplaying shouldn't be used.

OT: I'd call them even, with GT having a bigger hold of more markets and Halo's American presence being strong enough to offset the difference.

Halo games have been bundled. While a single GT has been bundled for... 3 years now?

For one Halo doesn't release once a year, Ubisoft have stated that they expect a weaker sales for the new AC game, And you shall see when GT6 is released if it has a bigger opening than Halo 4 than it's a bigger franchise (Simple), And if it has a bigger opening than GT5 it's  on the increase and can withstand multiple releases

Halo 3 2007

Halo wars & odst 2009

Halo reach 2010

Halo anniversary 2011

Halo 4 2012. Averages out to one a year.

GT has achieved higher sales at its peak, but why does it matter?

First of all two of those games are hd remakes, and the other three aren't even mainline franchises (One is a RTS), and it still disproves halo releasing annually considering there was no release in 2008 and 2013. Do you even know what annually means?

GT5 hasn't been out for 3 years....so no. Since you can't use it to prove much except "it was bundled", and, at best, claiming one benefits while the other "barely" does shows a strong bias. Thus, it makes no sense to continue to bring it up.

Neither of these franchises is without bundles and they sell, relatively, similar numbers. Bottom line.

By the time November rolls around it'll be 3 years of bundling. If you wanna downplay the bundling though, that's cool.

Fisrt of all how do you know there is no halo in 2013. Also who said anything about it having to be a mainline game? And 08 is the only year without halo but then again they made it up by releasing 2 the year after. So ok ill rephrase what I said. Halo has been an anual franchise since 09 happy?

Gran Turismo because it has sold more.

why is this in Sony discussion?

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

You said GT5 had been bundled for "3 years now". November is six months away, meaning it hasn't been bundled for three years.

Anyway, your continued, and blatant, excuses for why these two franchises are neck-and-neck says a lot. Halo is bundled. GT is bundled. You continue to spin it, but it doesn't change the bottom line.

Sorry, I should have said about 3 years. I rounded it out. We're closer to 3 year than 0 years. But continue to focus on that if you'd like.

No excuses. Years and years of bundling for GT5. That is a valid argument.
