What time is it on tomorrow? BST time please

6pm

I've arranged a lift home tomorrow instead of walking to make sure I make it in time.

Shit just got real.

Damn right. Gotta make sure I get home in time to make a cup of tea before it kicks off.

You're lucky, well most of you. It's on at 3 am here in Australia!!! I'm hyped as much as possible too... I'm going crazy with the gifs. If anyone wants me to stop say so while you have the chance. Soon the hype will turn me into something I dread becoming each night before I go to bed, something I fight with myself on a daily basis to control..... A fanboy.

That .gif is strangely cute!

30 HOURS TO GO...

Things I have learned from this thread.

Kowen makes the best threads.

IronManDX is from Australia.

Be seeing you early in the AM, IMDX.

Between the infinite possibilities opened up by the Doctor Who cliffhanger last night, and the anticipation building for this, I fear my head may explode before then.

If Xbox Infinity and Doctor Who 50th Anniversary special (Nov23) are within the same week, I think my head will explode so explosively, bang so bangingly, that it will set fire to my house.

My status here has been "Waiting for the great leap forward" for some many months now. I'm not certain the great leap will be tomorrow, as I'll still be waiting a bit longer - but I can't wait for these little steps...

Also - thank you everyone for all these wonderful gifs. It looks marvelous around here.

I didn't realize this before, but CoD: Ghosts will be unveiled alongside the new Xbox. It doesn't get much more brilliant than that!

I cant believe they're not saving it for E3. I guess it can be done this time because its a new gen and people will be more inclined to pay attention to each new game. I believe the whole next gen EA portfolio will be shown along side the 720/infinity reveal. With all the sports and other games being shown, they could survive without COD being revealed there i guess

Saving it for E3 would be a terrible idea.

It is a new console and CoD is the biggest gaming franchise today. A lot of people will watch the conference because of CoD. Mainstream media will pick it up and especially if it offers a new engine and it looks like a big step above Black ops 2 the media will say "it runs on Xbox 720" or even something like "Mircosoft revealed the new CoD with their new console."

The point is, if it turns out that there actually is a deal between EA and MS for some exclusive content like rumored and it includes Battlefield 4, they basically secure the FPS crowd in a second. People know there will be a new Halo on the next Xbox, but im combination with exclusive content for CoD, Exclusive content for Battlefield 4 and a new exclusive game by Respawn guys, it is just an overkill. Killzone won't do the trick to get the FPS audience on the PS4 then.

How would that be any diifferent than the current generation.? MS always had the FPS crowd even during the PS2 times. Hopefully MS goes after another genre.

Current Gen:

MS:
- exclusive Halo
- exclusive content for CoD

Sony:
- exclusive Killzone
- exclusive content for Battlefield

RUMORED next gen:

MS:
- exclusive Halo
- exclusive content for CoD
- exclusive content for Balltefield
- exclusive Respawn game

Sony:
- exclusive Killzone.

So that is what might change.

The FPS crowd is pretty much the American crowd

It will be an overwhelmingly difficult obstacle for PS4 to take back America.

MS has Halo and all they really need to do is get a Deal with COD again and PS4 wont be able to take it.

American territory:

Halo is capable of penetrating the 6-7 mill mark in America on Xbox and that is crazy

Killzone has only been capable of hitting the 1 mill mark in America on ps3.

Gran Turismo, God Of War and Uncharted have more strength than Killzone in this territory. Hell, even LittleBigPlanet has more strength than Killzone here

I read that a couple of times, but it is still wrong.

Check the best selling FPS games this gen and see how they did in Europe:

Black Ops 2: 7.5 million copies in Europe only (PS3 + Xbox 360)
MW 3: 8.84 million copies in Europe only (PS3 + Xbox 360)
Halo 3: 2.72 million copies in Europe only (Xbox 360)
Battlefield 3: 4.48 million copies in Europe only (PS3 + Xbox 360)

So the FPS market is not an American thing. Actually it sells big time everywhere except Japan.

Yea but look at how much more they sell in America.

FPS market is an American thing. They sell ok in Europe but America is where its at when it comes to the FPS games for the most part

Feel free to show me a genre that sells more in Europe than FPS.

*edit* and please don't come up with Fifa only.
