i don't get their comparison with cod and the two movies. did they compare us box office with worldwide cod sales? that would be stupid but it seems so...

I think an Apple console would fall on it's face but google? Who knows. I doubt either of them would try to be a fourth major player in the game, pun intended, there isn't any room for a fourth right now and you'd think they'd know it. Hmm, I wonder if MS didn't "jump in" with the xbox, (I'm on fire... ) that Apple or Google may have done so during the passing gen or the one started by the WiiU.

They acknowledged on the podcast that the COD numbers are from world wide but said that about half of those salse are probably from the US alone or something like that.

..riiiiiight.  unless the to be announce multimedia features somehow convience a huge percentage of household they need one on ever tv in the house i just can't see this even coming close.

Nice to see some facts and educated projections rather than 'Consoles are Dying!'

But Are they including the 3DS? Cause otherwise I can't figure out how the 8th gen started in 2011.



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
