The head developer left Team ICO. Sony Santamonica is picking up the piece, and they've basically been the golden team this generation outside of Naughty Dog.

I think they are awesome! They make amazing games and fantastic consoles and I hope they continue doing the great things they do with the PS4.

They are really hit and miss with me. Besides infamous, I really don't love any of their new IP's. Little Big planet 1 was one of my favorite games of all time, but then it's sequels felt like rehashes. Uncharted 2 was a ridiculously fun game, but then 3 sucked hard. I could care less about killzone, resistance was fun from what I played of it (beat resistance 3). Overall, I think they have some talented studios, but they waste their time making sequels for games that should be stand alone.

Man, you've got to stop doing this. Just because you've had a few bad experiences with Sony fans doesn't mean you can keep saying you hate the entire fanbase. I'd get banned in a second for doing that in the Nintendo discussion.

To put it simply, if there any (post-Atari) console generation I wouldn't mind skipping over, it's the PS1/N64 era. That's not to say I don't love a handful of the games on both systems, but when compared to the generations that came before and after, it's kinda meh.

They gave us Uncharted, Infamous, and soon The Last of Us, they did good, yes they did.

You could say that I have little respect for the pioneering spirit of the 5th generation of consoles, which might be correct.
