What just happened??? Are these the biggest adjustments this site has done? I remember big adjustments happening a couple years ago (2011?), but we got a pretty thorough explanation by ioi. Will we get an explanation on these adjustments?

If these adjustments are true, they destroy my prediction of the PS3 passing the 360 in Q4 of this year.

From the 6th gen to 7th gen so far:

Nintendo - 3rd place to 1st place

SONY - 1st place to 2nd place

Microsoft - 2nd place to 3rd place

....which is true....

But considering how bad Sony screwed up the PS3 launch, it was a very nice comeback.
I hope Sony doesn't fk up the PS4 launch....

Makes me wonder what the PlayStation brand will do with a level playing field? If this is anything to go by MS and Nintendo needs to hope a pray for Sony to drop the ball on PS4 launch, otherwise it's a sure repeat of the onesided PS2 gen. Not that i actully believe that, but this comeback make me wonder.

I mean complete hate from the press, $600 price, crappy ports, almost no 3rd party exclusive, annihilation in north america, and 1 year later to the market all added up to this. Amazing, Sony might be able to get away with another $600 console.

Yes I would say the Big 3 all won this generation lol. A farcry from last gen with Sony just dominating. In terms of profit which we have no way of actually knowing. Wii made tons, 360 made huge losses then large profits, PS3 made huge losses then small profits. Looking forward who knows the PS3 might make large profits but be offset by vita and PS4 losses. 360 will probably also make small profits but be offset by Nextbox losses.
