well, i meant a case you can buy for your dslr, not cams for divers. and i don't know what to film when i just swim, seems useless to me. i would maybe do that once but not more.

i understand the waterproof stuff of the xperia z because it's good for under the shower but a full waterproof case is not really something i understand as selling point (but many will buy it because of that).

and sure, as long as it won't cost more it's still good to have.

Well, I think Prof is saying that if you are having a swimming party with your friends then it's a nice phone to have. I like taking pictures when I am swimming in a pool and in a beach with friends and families. This is really a nice feature to have. 

Here in my country when it always rain most of the time. I can actually use my phone when it's raining without the fear of my phone getting soaked with rain. This is actually my desired phone ATM because of that feature alone.

I don't know why you'd think it's useless.

Then again, my parents and older coworkers think instagram and facebook are useless...and plenty of people don't understand the appeal of snapchat.

Sure it's useless, but it's cool and fun. It's something extra to do at the pool.

EDIT: yeah, like noctis said, it's just a nice feature. Don't have to worry about rain, don't have to worry about dropping your phone in water. And yaknow, I instagram and snapchat and the like, A LOT. A feature like this is cool to me because I can take all kinds of interesting pictures to upload, and I find value in that, because I can do something other people can't. :D

yeah i said in another post that i understand that for rain or under the shower, just not why 100% waterproof is a selling point but ok, seems ike some really take pics in the pool, didn't think about that

100% exactly, if anything selling off the TV production would be one of the thing's that Sony would sell off parts of, there is it seem's a really directed attitude on many places that think that Sony need's to get out of the hardware part of making Game console's....when their Agenda is quite clear, they wish Sony to go 3rd party, because they feel Sony as had its time, these very same people it seems do not wish Sony to turn thing's back to the better they seem to only want Sony to cash out and move to software only.

well Sony may do that, but on the same token do you really think Sony is not going to cut the freaking heavy ANVIL that is dragging the entire company down is not going to be Sony's first choice before Sony would even entertain the selling off the playstation Part of their company?

Thats the Last freaking thing they would do, I would imagine Sony would rather reduce their work force by several more thousands of its 160,000 employed work in their once again the HEAVY Anvil Section of TV's Production than force than kill off their playstation.

It makes no freaking sense to cut off a company arm that sell over freaking 77+ million unit's of a product an no longer sell that for no real presence into this part of the market. As a matter of fact I would imagine is if Sony does leave the production of Playstation Console's for the living room will more than likely move their software to Smart devices. which means no AAA investment software only low cost high retrn software , why expend AAA production value software when you hear on severl forums like this one Sony's software is not that really selling that well anyway. why spend the money on AAA when your ROI will be low. Many people claimed that Sony's really only certified AAA is GT anyway.. IF Sony would divest themselves of Playstation do you really think they would give up their 1st party leaving them no way to make 1st party? if they were going to sell off Playstation who would buy it without Sony's 1st party?bSony's 1st party is the main point of owning playstation.
