The break up was quickly denied by Kaz and it was of the entertainment division (AKA one of the better divisions in Sony). If people think Sony would give up Beyoncé and Iron Man you guys are nuts

the suggested break up of sony was just by a hedge fund manager....so it would be speculation on the part of investors, creaming at the thought of lopping off the weaker divisions into other companies.

it has nothing to do with a single phone model.  that would be ludicrous.

I'm not really familiar with the investor mindset, but I don't really take them to be very smart for the most part, at least not about the video game industry.

You don't think a huge selling phone would do that? eh, maybe you're right.

what do you mean it was denied? lol.

The hedge fund guy isnt saying it IS happening.  he is calling for it TO happen. 

as one of the largest shareholders he can call for what he likes.

i know that many really like that waterproof stuff but i don't really get it. if i'm a diver i will use a real cam with a waterproof case and otherwise i don't really need that?

If you're a diver, then you're not their target audience.

Their target market is just regular people who are looking for a well made phone especially to people who might go swimming a lot.

An underwater camera is boatloads more expensive for the average consumer and not worth the price.

I believe this is the first one with an HD camera. I could be wrong.
