The more I read about this game the more I find I am interested. I will give it a go after I have completed my studies. It looks interesting, and I am fine with the scores thus far.

Gametrailers gave it a 91 and gamespot gave it a 90.  Arguably two of the biggest game reviewing sites so it is looking very promising :)

Yea I just watched the review on GT. They definitely painted it in a positive light. I can live with the minor flaws it has. I'm sure the bugs will get ironed out in time. It's interesting how people interpret the same things differently. IGN sort of said the opposite about the gameplay and story in their review. Not suggesting it was bad, but not praising it the same way GT was - they even have it under cons. Either way, I intend to get it. Looks nice.

still too much to play so i'll pick this up later but i'm interested.. seem like a fine singleplayer game

Seems like an improved sequel. The last one was quite unique but it was kind of depressing. So sad and full of melancholy.

Really interesting reading over the reviews thus far. Reminds me of when Killzone 3 was released. Like KZ3, some people seem upset that it's a bit different than its predecessor, while others are happy about the changes. Stuff like that makes you really understand how subjective this whole review score thing is and why the actual review text is so much more important.

I intend to try it eventually.

The first one had a lot lower meta and was very original despite large control flaws. Should be a winner. Buying it for the dark ambience.
