I know it's a strange tittle because everyone has a heart but I will explain it.
I was looking on youtube for some music videos and I found the video of Band Aid the version of 1984.
And I was thinking what people could do about it. I know I'm only 17 year but my brother and I give once a month 10 euros to some kind of fund. We sold all our old stuff from the attic with the tsunami. I know that the gamers community is huge and I am wondering if they could do something for poverty. There is a lot of money in the game industry so why don't they set up something ? I remember that some companies like (not sure) Bizarre Creations did something but I don't find the article anymore. Give your ideas. Does it already exist ?

It's hard to understand a World in which there are people starving to death in some countries and in others millions of tons of food is thrown out without ever being eaten.

On Gametrailers you could give some of your GT dollars to child play.

100 GT dollars = 10$ and with that they bought games/consoles for children who have deadly sicknesses like cancer in hospitals so that they don't have to sit whole the time in a white room with nothing to do.

Maybe we could give some of our VG$ for a charity?

This is a foolish thread.

Giving money to the poor is not a solution to the problem. The single best actual cure to poverty is not the dollar bill, it is a quality education. Giving someone the skills to cure her own poverty is far better than temporarily curing it.

Once upon a time, there was a very popular saying in regards to this issue: The poor need a hand up, not a handout. It still rings true today.

I agree that giving money to the poor is a foolish idee. And I agree that you have to give them money by paying for giving them the chance to have education. But to educate and give them the accomodation you need money. Isn't it?

No I but if you give it to some kind of fund they will know what to do with it.
Yeah, Ok. You're right it's a bit foolish thread.
Don't know why I made it. I thought that it would be a great idea but eventually it isn't.
