The source is in Spanish, but the short of it is that an HD collection of both Symphonia titles is coming to the PS3. Localization will happen, at least for NA.

Baba has previously said this year would be filled with Tales, so the likelihood this is true is pretty high. After all, they've already said they're not localizing the Vita titles at this point, and they're clearly not going to release both Xillia games in the same year.

Two Nintendo exclusives coming to PS3 O_O

Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

Wait this makes 0 sense.

Both of these spawned on Nintendo consoles. Especially Symphonia 1, that was even a player choice. If anything it would be a PS3 and WiiU thing.

pretty much every tales game these days are ps3 exclusive

I love it.

The PS3 is the JRPG king this gen so any release for it (even ports or remakes) makes sense.

Ha! Unlikely.

Still, I'd buy it. I borrowed Symphonia from a friend but he asked for it back before I'd gotten too far in the game. What I played of it wasn't too bad.
