OMG, i didn't think nintendomination will come into COMG for a long time but O.o
Pre orders just opened up for Yokai Watch 2

Also are there 2 versions of this game O.o Cuz i see 2 of them and none of them are limited editions!!!

Persona Q (June)
Yokai Watch (July)

Senran Kagura 2 (Aug)
SSB (Summer)

All huge games... Im missing some

Wat else is there ........... Jezus!!

They decided to go the  Pokemon way and have two versions of the game, to have more sales, so yeah there are two versions of Yokai Watch 2.

Ok, my question is are they doing it just like pokemon? I mean exclusive monsters, items, etc? Or can this game just be one version like the original?

From what the boxart of both version show, it seems that they will have exclusive Yokai depending on the version.

COMG guide to points: 1 point = Raging. 2 points = Beasting. 3 points = Tearing it up. 4 points = Berzerk. 7 points = Rampage. 12 points = Burst. 15 points = god mode. 20+ points = DIVIDING BY ZERO!!! 40+ points = Youkai (originally Pokemon).

-1 = Negabeasting. -5= NegaRampage. -10 = NegaBurst

Wow, looks cool actually, hope they are taking the pokemon way, instead of just doing 2 for extra money. (Cuz i personally dont kno the differences as where pokemon has been established to have trading/friends/etc)

when Yokai Watch 2 comes out it wont even be a year from the original.... Level 5 will make a lot of money with the next couple years intill the effect wears off

It's quite crazy seeing the Level-5 affect so early. Usually it does take about a year.

Their milking dependance is growing!

another thing to note is the fact the first game is still selling 40k+, they are going to kill the first one sales. Its already over 660k, and could potentially hit 1.5mil-2mil imo, but with the new games i see it hitting 1mil-1.2mil lifetime (which is still crazy for a new ip

Nintendo's going to be starting a campaign in Japan to get Youkai Watch free with the purchase of a 3DS LL. Expect to see hardware boost and software drop for that in a couple weeks anyway :p

Basically, they offer a choice between two games every month. It will be Youkai Watch or Animal Crossing between April 26 and May 31. Unfortunately, these will be untrackable because what you get is a "ticket" that can be redeemed for any one game during the campaign, even games for later months if you choose to hold onto it.

I totally forgot about this! Wonder how much of a boost 3DS will get from this. Starting off with 2 huge games. If they're smart the other games after should be (not at once but just to name a few) PokemonXY/MH/DQ/PuzzleDragon

Kinda looking good if you compare MK8 with Pikmin3/SM3DW whichs is weird... MK get off the brakes :-/

Heavy hitters would definitely move hardware, and help more people choose LL over regular 3DS. I think Nintendo also sees the Vita gaining momentum in Japan, and wants to try and counter that. This campaign is going to go until Sep 30, it's a long time so it probably won't be entirely frontloaded, either.

I'm not sure if it's the best idea to offer such relatively new games though. Animal Crossing is fairly old, but there are already retailers complaining about the choice to offer Youkai Watch. It's a big seller for retailers right now, and the campaign will definitely hurt them.

Edit: Also, slow day.

Good points, at least Yokai watch coming in 2 versions! big bucks for everyone

As for 3DS vs Vita, yes nintendo probably trying to counter sales with this promotion. Vita almost beat 3DS 4 times this year (weekly) and will beat it this month 2-3 times imo.

Both have big games coming out though, healthy sales imo

Gematsu has the (censored) leak of Famitsu's SAO score at 8/8/*/8. Looks like it will probably do better than the first game's 29. Not a bad score for an anime based game.

Now, any guesses on the hidden score? I'm rolling with a 7.
