1 point = 1 pre-order in a COMG store.  All we can reliably conclude from this is that MonHun has 540 pre-orders.

People like to extrapolate it based on what you just said, that 1 point = 1k preorders, so you wouldn't be too far off with that.  There are a lot of other things to consider (i.e. what platform its on; what series it's from etc.), but as a general rule using 1 point = 1k preorders is mostly safe.

Thanks for the info. Looks like mosnter hunter 4 is going to be huge then.

If SS got 40 pts. With toukiden already on 60. 150K is already Confirmed for VITA ( I hope so ).

Hey guys, aren't Sony and Microsoft kind of silent about their next-gen consoles in Japan ? No price or date, no pre-orders.. we already know that Xbox won't launch this year in Japan but what about ps4 ?
