It didnt do that well in Japan but was still able to sell 10mil+WW thanks to the other countries. But it make sense since it is a remake and they removed a major feature of the game.

And I think Pokemon Go was not that popular in Japan compared to other countries.

I agree, I think something similar will happen with Sword & Shield though to a lesser extent. A lower percentage of sales will come from Japan than did for the 3ds games anyway.

Sword & Shield will do better than COMG suggests, same as Let's Go. Though it will do worse in Japan than previous games I think, other countries will make up for it.

Oh shit, it's by the I Am Setsuna people? Well never mind then. And if it's multiplat then the points will be split anyway and we probably won't see it until maybe the last week. At least now I don't need to feel bad about not buying it day one, my games budget is stretched thin as it is.
