Holy shit balls monster Hunter is ripping up the charts. 700 points already. Looks like my Christmas present came early.

Hopefully not long until it marches past 800p.

Holy fuck! That Nintendomination! And Splatoon 2 gets #1 again! I have a feeling that 400k - 500k Switch sales rumors are true! 

Does that mean that the switch has a chance to break the record of highest amount of hardware sold in a week in japan :o.i believe the record holder is the 3ds with 400k+

It's almost as if people have forgotten the daily pre order chart exists. Reminder that the title of the thread is "COMG! Japan Pre-order Chart Thread". I'd be interested in hearing your opinions on it.

There isn't much to discuss?  Monster Hunter is doing good, way behind 4 and X but matching XX.  PS4 has nearly all or all the games but the total preorders on the charts are very low so the overall image isnt a healthy look for the market but that may be the holidays.  

MHW trajectory is totally amazing. It is currently trekking even higher then MH XX. So it can very well end up with some high COMG points and if its multiplier also similar to previous PS4 games it can have FF XIII level of launch week sales i.e. around 1.5 million

I would think the DS would have gotten a very high weekly sales at some point. Hopefully someone can confirm your questions. 

Oh please! You and me and some others too were posting amazon rankings on this thread before. Now that is more irrelevant to this thread than what Boutros has been posting for years now (Both the pre-orders chart and weekly sales points at COMG stores)

There is a good idiom in German to describe my opinion: "Jeder biegt sich die Wahrheit zurecht." Translated in English it means that everyone bends the truth so that it fits their own convictions. 

When you belong to team "blue" then you will only talk about the the blue ocean of the pre order charts or how well Monster Hunter World is getting pre order compared to other spin offs of the series. 

In team "red" you will point out how great the current sales are, mention how weak in general the pre order numbers are and that Monster Hunter World is not as strong in the pre order charts as other main entries in the series.

I am convinced that it is generally important to not be restricted to one's thinking. This not only applies to video games but also to other areas in life (politics, religion, culture or social issues).
