It depends on where Spla2n ceiling will be. It will sell much, much higher FW, might outsell the original in less than 2 months. When it stops selling is very hard to tell.



Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Considering what looks to be a big under-performance by DQXI on 3DS in Japan, and the other DQ games on 3DS doing comparatively much worse in the West, I doubt we're gonna see a localisation of this version.

Do you know if DQXI (3DS + PS4) is doing quite well compared to past DQ games?

Let me say this. If splat2 outsold splat1 in 2months then the game is going to be in the top 5 selling games of all time in japan. Splat1 sold 1.7mil+ At this rate Switch wont be at 2mil by end of August unless a relaunch and good supply happen.

 

That said i dont think this game will stop selling for years. Im still predicting this game to beat dq11 and do close to 5mil if not more. As long as the switch sells 10mil+ i think it has a shot.

OMG seeing the PS4 version of Dragon Quest XI above the 3DS version wasn't something that I ever expected to see.

Ok, maybe not 2 months I forgot Splatoon sold so much. But I can see it happen even without the holidays (mid October?).

This is probably the biggest surprise we'll get all year on comg. I wonder when the next wave of promotion for the game takes place.

Won't be able to tell until it releases, as the points aren't translatable.
