Didn't someone here (maybe hiska-kun?) say Zelda and 1-2-Switch are bundled at COMG? Like people are forced to pre-order either when they pre-order a Switch? That would be skewing the numbers if true.

Yes, if you want to buy a switch console you have to buy either or (12S or LoZ). Its only at COMG but saying its forced is a little weird imo. I mean if that rule doesnt exist what, will we even see a difference in the chart? Maybe 5 points total :p

Jokes aside i dont think it's as forced as many think. I mean are people going to buy this system not getting LoZ (or 12S) day 1? Thats a stretch. Knack is a different story.

Edit: also no1 should use knack as a comparison. When Knack 2 comes out it shoulsnt be compared to Knack 1 (meaning people saying bomba/decline) because of the way knack sold (being with the ps4 first shipment

Anyway, you need to remember that, as time went by, the ratio between preorder points and thousands of actual sales has seen important decreases as time went by. On the other side, both Zelda and 1 2 Switch are the games that whoever preorder a Switch from COMG must get, so this is probably going to influence negatively their own ratio (i.e. it's probably going to be higher than the current default values). This also means that launch titles that are not Zelda and 1 2 Switch could have lower ratios than average due to the specific COMG preorder clause.

Wow that's quite the revelation.  Really puts a dampener on Switch pre orders.  And it's pointless comparing them to other titles if people are forced to pre order one of two games. 

Is there a lot of COMG stores out there? Wouldn't they pre order somewhere else if they don't like Zelda or 1 2 Switch?
