its a home console when befits; if outsell ps4 for exemple, they'll say "its a mobile/handheld", or when do graphics comparison, for try to diminute the switch and bash nintendo.

Assuming that Switch will sell >300k, probably will be something like this:

Zelda (250k) >>> 1-2-Switch (50k) > Bomberman (40k) > DQHeroes 1-2 (20k) >> the rest <20k

That would be a lot more than Twilight Princess on the Wii. Is that really happening? I guess that would be because there's not much competition on the Switch.

This is happening because there's no other strong title at launch. Wii had Wii Sports (it wasn't bundled in Japan) as a main game. Also, BoW hype seems higher than TP.

Unfornutaly its true, switch feature gimmick is the portability and hd rumble.

I think BotW does have much more hype than TP. It could be because of all the delays. Its a mini ffxv situation xD

You can only play your play Wii U,  ps4 or xb1 when plugged into the TV.  They're traditional home consoles. Switch is a portal with a connection to the TV.  Splatoon 2 is competing with mobile titles like pokemon and animal Crossing. 

Portability is the feature of the home console. You have this agenda of only comparing it to HH to twist things into your favor. 

All the signs are there, even with BotW being the last wiiu game and 3ds continuing support for at least another year. Again just leave this alone. We all are already dealing witb REVII being a new ip for your sake

Look at the Switch.  It's basically a Vita 2. It's spiritual successor in terms of hardware.  They gave it a connection to the TV.  Big deal,  it's still portable hardware and I'll judge it as such.  

I know people like when things are black or white but the Switch is somewhere in-between (a hybrid really).
It's technically limited by its handheld feature but it's priced like a home console (in fact more than previous Nintendo home consoles) so it can't be only one of them. It's also supposed to replace the Wii U but many handheld series will release on the Switch.
It won't be fair to compare it to the Wii U but it also won't be fair to compare it to the 3DS. There's no precedent.
Let's end the argument now or it will last for the next 5 years.

Yes its a hybrid that just happens to be
90% Handheld, 10% console

Sure if the Dock had an extra GPU or such that vastly improved its performance when used as a console then you could say it was 50:50 but they didn't go that route so design/performance is limited by being chiefly a handheld
