Having seen World of Final Fantasy in action now, I might pick it up.  It might be tonally dissonant with the newer entries in the series, but its nothing but fun and fanservice for fans of the older entries. Also they seem to have done a good job with the localization as well.

This flopping will probably sadly be enterpreted as: 'Our fans want more emo boys and less humor from our games'....:/

We shouldn´t call it a flop until WW sales are in. Type-0 HD also sold quite low in Japan and managed to get to 1M copies shipped. Though I see WoFF as a way harder sell (and I personally think it won´t do well everywhere) I wouldn´t write it off instantly just because it performed bad on COMG.

I don't think that's a good comparison. Type-0 was already released in Japan on PSP, so the HD version was a port. Also, that 1M shipment was heavy discounted at many places in the west.

Still. My statement stands. People should stop calling something a flop just because it doesn´t perform well in Japan.

Dang! Nearly 20!

Pocky Lover Boy!

I will buy both of Pokemon Sun and FF15 : )

XV seems to be moving a little bit faster now. I think it is reasonable for SE to save the main marketting budget for the holidays season. As far as I can tell the previous main games got TV spots 2 months or more before release, which is not the case here. I'm not expecting miracles at this points though.

Where is the comparision at?

Uh, the copies may have sold at heavy discounts, but the shipment definitely was purchased at full price. I don't know what the situation was like in Europe, but the game did pretty well in the US.

The system works differently in the west. If a game is overshipped badly, retailers can get compensation from the publishers which allows them to slash prices.

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.
