Pokémon Sun/Moon needs like 22 points per day on average to reach XY's number of points.

Feels like it will "only" reach ORAS's numbers to be honest. I expect strong digital sales though.

I wonder how it will do worldwide and how much Pokémon Go helped.

Yokai Watch 2 and Busters got always an under 1000 points ratio. While Yokai Watch 3 bombed, it got a 1,400 ratio.

Pokémon ORAS and XY too is close but under to 1000 points ratio. if Pokémon MS get the same ratio of Yokai Watch 3 (1,400) and end with 1,500 points (less than ORAS) that's 2.1 million first week, aka more than XY. And that's retail only.

No doubt XY will win at COMG but what's really matter is the ratio.

About Worldwide... it is gonna be close to double of ORAS and XY west launch, easy. Legs will be of course worse but with a way stronger launch it will have no problem to sells more lifetime. Moon and Sun are gonna become a >20 million seller.

The two honchos did good in the end. Ps4 version not too far behind the vita. Will be interesting to see how close it gets on media create to the vita sku.

Even ORAS level are difficult to get, not by much margin though. The fact that pre-orders started way before will affect the last days' movement, especially where XY and ORAS had peaks. However, as Ryng said, it's more about the ratio.

I find really hard to reach 1:1400 ratio for Sun and Moon. It surely will be above 1:1000 but I would say more leaning towards 1:1200 or 1:1300 rather than Sushi and Tempura's 1:1400. Also, 20 million for Sun and Moon sounds quite high to me. There won't be problems to beat XY worldwide, but with NX around the corner I don't think legs will be enough to sustain more than 4 million more for Sun and Moon.

They did well on COMG! where PSVita games are always very frontloaded than other consoles. Hope tomorrow, see Berserk o The Last Guardian.

i personally expect 1,250 ratio for MS, so we agree here. Though i don't see it end's with less points than ORAS... I personally expect something like ~1700/1800 points and a >2 million first week.

About 20 million worldwide... XY is at 15 million by end of June, so begore Pokèmon GO. Was already way up YOY before the GO boost, and after that sales are becomed even more impressive. XY will NOT end with less than 16.5 million lifetime. I think 17 million are likely. That's also why i don't see MS sells anything less than 18 million.

MS launch is gonna be crazy. Japan should be just a bit better than XY but in west it will explode.
