So builders had a good day plus the ps3 version brings the total to higher than we thought. A 200k opening week is possible.

Star Oceon is in the same boat. It's total pre orders are actually good but it looks like the split won't be that much in favour of the ps3.

All these cross gen releases guarantee the ps4 won't be front loaded and will continue to get boosts over the next 3 years every time a series finally drops support for the ps3 version.

The Ps3 owners are getting incredible support. They're really getting their money's worth.

Their is a line where I care about sales, when playing some games that are on also on PS3 I feel the games are to much limited because of old hardware limitations. If you play a game like FFXV demo that feels like 'Okay this is current gen' compared to for example tales of Zestiria (One Piece warriors/and many more) they just feel like PS3 games with some updates. Bit surprised that SO is also on PS3, makes me less hyped about it.

It's not really sony's fault, it's the devs for clinging to the ps3.  At this rate they'll drop support for the ps3 and go all in on the ps4 sometime around the release of the ps6 or 7.

The limited edition does pretty well on amazon Japan, so I wouldn't be surprised to see that one pretty soon.

By the way, Wii U still seems to be sold on amazon Japan. We might see a big drop in sales for the console if this is also true for other shops and the problem persists.

Oh, and Splatoon has finally left the amazon top 20. Took almost 8 month to happen.
