Dont let FW sales discourage you, its not going to end up 250k-500k, but it should do good in the long run. Hopefully it pulls a triple deluxe like in US!!! (First month NPD had it around 35k-40k in April or May then it legged up over 250k+
Edit: Holy F*** i just re saw the #s, its over 360k here lol. just goes and shows you there are a couple of games that fw are terrible/bad then blow the F up!!! Examples Yoshi NI (garbage game though) and Tomodachi
To put things into perspective
SYS | title | FW | LTD | Publisher | Release Date |
NDS | Kirby Super Star Ultra | 260.867 | 1.204.101 | Nintendo | 06/11/2008 |

WII | Kirby's Return to Dream Land | 144.121 | 695.464 | Nintendo | 27/10/2011 |
WII | Kirby's Epic Yarn | 109.253 | 492.588 | Nintendo | 14/10/2010 |

NDS | Kirby Mass Attack | 70.675 | 395.810 | Nintendo | 04/08/2011 |
NDS | Kirby Canvas Curse | 72.102 | 315.211 | Nintendo | 24/03/2005 |
While Canvas Curse is the worst selling of the series it still did pretty well, so not all hope is lost.
I still wouldn't expect for it to do half as much as Canvas Curse did.
Edit: Missed the 3DS game, sorry

But Canvas Curse was released when DS was around 4.5m userbase and playing on a tactil screen was something strange on that moment. Now Rainbow Curse has a 9m userbase at release . Is not going to do great but i think it will outsell Canvas Curse with time.

Those are numbers from Japan, not WW, WiiU is just around 2m over there, and while yes, touch screen gaming has certainly gotten popular since Canvas Curse, WiiU is the oposite of popular, I mean only 6 WiiU games in Japan have outsold Canvas Curse, overall software sales of the console aren't that great over there either.

Ironically Captain Toad FW was really low (like 19k/20k?) getting sold out in comparison to other ps4 games FW, yet it outsold lifetime almost every ps4 game in japan to date (excluding Knack). Edit: i know CT was released right before holiday but still^ |
You're drunk.
