So any non Smash related posts?? This has possibly been the worst game to have on the charts since I started following COMG!
Youkai is doing scarily well considering how short the gap between it and 2 is. What do Level 5 do with all this money they are raking in??
| tbone51 said: 1.Yeah i kno so are SSB 3DS + SSBU. Just because they share many things in common doesn't mean its the same game. NSMB Wii and NSMB U have alot more in common thy both SSB games! 2. Yeah like no more than 300k-500k WW sales at best (depending on how much SSBU sells WW) which heavily make up for it having it as a seperate 3ds game :0 3. Its not competing more than Any other game in comparison. I mean MK7 vs MK8 or SM3DL vs SM3DW. I dont hear this from them or many other titles! Also If anything the 3ds version could help persuade getting the WiiU version for a couple of people. |
Doesn't matter if one game has more in common than the other ... All that matters is that their different games.
@Bold Oh really ? Considering that Smash would've only been playable on the WII U I'd expect much more than that if you take a look at the past iteration's sales performance.
MK7 and MK8 are different games and the same applies with SM3DL as well as SM3DW so your point is pretty much null here. The reason you don't hear this is because they're either a different iteration or that they have different content/mechanics/design but that's hardly the case for WII U or 3DS version of Smash. The 3DS version could persuade some 3DS owners to upgrade to the WII U version and I'm not ruling that out, however it's already like you said about how this only applies to a couple of cases ...

No one cares about Sony in COMG anymore. They have two dead consoles in their home market.

| Fusioncode said: I guess two people just said fuck it and went to buy Smash 3DS instead. Nintendo should offer some sort of cross-buy feature where if you buy Smash on 3DS you can get the WiiU version for a reduced price. Should be able to convince a lot more people to double dip. |
The problem isn't the amount of incentives offered.
The problem is that the WII U is of a higher barrier than the 3DS.

Completely different design if you want to be specific. Also both SSB has much more different Content from each other than a game like MK7+MK8.
Challenges are MAJORLY different, the rewards (Trophies) are Completely different, SSB 3DS has Games and Modes that WiiU wont have, Smash Run is a major mode in SSB 3DS which SSBU doesn't have 85% of the stages are exclusive and cant be shared. I can keep going and be more specific. They are different games. Its not like YW2 or Pokemon (version1/version2) thats the same thing with an exclusive item/pokemon. They are different. Thats it.
There is a reason why they have different box arts, different Release Dates, and different Titles.
The rest of our arguement i'll have to agree to disagree with. Noone can prove either side with facts, but as for SSB is the same game, that is proven to not be the case

I wonder when will YW2.5 will slow down? On monday?
Sad day for Smash.......... We really need that direct.
Or it could be that MH4G and the new 3ds could have affected the slow preorders, or pokemon and YW releasing.
Pocky Lover Boy!

And?? Theirs always Level 5, SQEX, Capcom, Bamco, KT, Konami, Sega and the niche devs we can talk about. Hell Nintendo even have non Smash rgames in the charts we could talk about.

Most probably a console Youkai Watch game, and that would be the big project they were recently hiring people for, and hopefully it turns out to be to Wii U, the name of "Youkai Watch U" is too good to let it pass, and for the Youkai to be watching you some Youkai Amiibos come into action, well if Ninty lets a 3rd party have some of the Amiibo fun.
COMG guide to points: 1 point = Raging. 2 points = Beasting. 3 points = Tearing it up. 4 points = Berzerk. 7 points = Rampage. 12 points = Burst. 15 points = god mode. 20+ points = DIVIDING BY ZERO!!! 40+ points = Youkai (originally Pokemon).
-1 = Negabeasting. -5= NegaRampage. -10 = NegaBurst

In Japan only? Its possible for smash to sell that. I'ld say perhaps a 50% chance
