Toukiden Extreme is actually tracking ahead of the original this early on so thats good (24pts vs. 16pts). Coincidentally the very first chart posted in this thread shows what the original Toukiden was at 47 days before release.

Japanese were very pleased with the original game, and I think the franchise can grow really big if handled right and can even rival with Monster Hunter (the first steps are kind of similar), or maybe just Gods Eater. But surely Kiwami is gonna sell more than SSD, I can see that happen !

Toukiden is more wider of audienc than Soul Sacrifice, and is closer to what Mosnter Hunter is than any other called "hunting" game... but it have its fir amount of twist to consider it a new IP instead a simple cash banking clon...

No its basically MonHun set in a Japanese setting instead of a more European(?) setting. It's like 90% the same.

I don't understand. You're saying that Toukiden 90% just like MonHun? The foundation is the same, but everything else is different......

Deflection from a underacheiving by pointing to a game that is doing better than expected (ie. tracking ahead of the previous release in the series) isn't a good strategy.
