Forums - Nintendo - THE 3DS is not a Casual system!

3DS? Casual? You are just jealous you can't play Tomodachi Collection in your console.

I can't play Tomodachi and I have a 3DS...

Maybe someday Nintendo will be kind...

Or maybe somebody will start Operation Portable Rainfall...

I think it's time we redefine casual...

I know people who own consoles just so that they can play Call of Duty...

They don't care about any other games...

I'm not saying Call of Duty is casual, but I am saying that anyone who is only interested in playing Call of Duty is a casual video game player...

Have a nice day...

Call of Duty is the casual -

It is a Nintendo system, mainstream gamers (newfaqs if you want) that need to base their masculinity and their alleged membership to the "hardcore" on bashing Nintendo, need to call it casual. They would be "uncool" if they would like colors and artstyle.

Real "hardcore"(oldfaqs if you want) gamers know that Nintendo systems/games are not "casual" only mainstream gamers and wannabe's say so.

Let them grow up and eventually they will understand. xD

(This is just for general information I am not talking about specific people here nor did I see what you linked at)

Gamecube and Gameboy Advance are my favorite console and handheld of all time and were both geared towards the core adiance, Wii and DS were both great but to me were both too casual and I didnt enjoy them as much. I personally feel Wii U and 3DS will have the perfect blend of those previous generations and sales will reflect that, 50-60m for Wii U and 100-120m for 3DS.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Ah dur, so much for reading comprehension.

Still don't get what he's trying to say though. Every parent buys a video game console for their kids. I'm sure kids made up a large quanity of those PS2's that were sold. A good console attracts people of all ages and demographics, after all.

All handhelds are casual systems. It is known.

The distinction between casual and hardcore is an imaginary one. "Casual" is neither a demographic nor a genre.

That said, the 3DS has a great library of titles from all genres that should satisfy most demographics.

Animal Crossing is some hardcore stuff.
