Microsoft: never announced that the Xbox 720 will use AMD chips

Microsoft COO, said in an interview, they never declared the Xbox 720 will use AMD chips. But we still can not deny this possibility, in short, two weeks after the conference, we will know the answer.

From May 21, which is only two weeks of the Microsoft Xbox 720 conference , many of my friends should be very concerned about the news of this next-generation video game console.

We also reported that Microsoft is likely to be used in the Xbox 720 X86 architecture processors AMD design , which has become the industry's unified conclusion. However, this conclusion seems words too early to say.

Last week, Microsoft COO Kevin Turner said in a real-time interviews of held in editor Liukeli CBSi (China) Media , Microsoft has not announced the Xbox 720 will use AMD chips, but they will continue to promote the development of this technology .

Xbox 720 will be equipped with AMD processors were originally only a rumor, and Microsoft COO meaning only did not announce the use of AMD processors, this possibility can not be ruled out. The final this host in the end what processor can only wait until two weeks before known.

I like how much more shit is starting to trickle out now. MS is excellent at doing this.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

Any human translators out there? Even mighty Google Translate has it's limitations ...

Big mistake if they go with Intel. Price is going to be through the roof, or very likely underpowered.

Of course...

I was having a meeting with 5-6 guys from M$ just over a week ago and they were still deny the 720 even existed.

This says absolutely nothing. Its basically a "we cannot agree or deny anything". May 21 my comparison thread will nearly be perfect.

They also didn't announce it was not using AMD chips.

So... why is this news?

They won't. They learnt their Lesson by going Intel+nVidia with the origional Xbox, it was an incredibly expensive educational lesson for Microsoft. :P

They *could* go PowerPC+AMD again.

Ha ha ha! Best post of the day.

And no. No they did not.

May 21 folks; no need to outguess anyone at this point. It'll be official soon.

What if they're using Nvidia chips?
