i honestly dont understand how a lot of adults still play pokemon. if a few adults like the game i would understand that but it seems that tons and tons of teens and adults still are very much in love with what is a childs game. heck the game itself holds a terrible message, go around capturing and enslaving wild creatures and holding them in a small ball and force them to fight each other in a fight to the death. also the art style is extremely silly IMO

More like you've lost your innocence. I haven't played pokemon in AGES, but even though the concept is pretty good, and I wouldn't mind playing it again.

But come to think about it, you dislike RPGs, so what I'm expecting... =P

Skyrim/Fallout3 are casual games dressed up to make the player feel like a hardcore badass.

Also the game developers couldn't debug their way out of a paper bag.

^Booyah reminded me something. I think that

Fallout series (Starting to count from 3 and so on; when Bethesda gave it its "touch") >>>>>>>>> The Elder Scrolls.

Have you ever played the games?

Do you also feel this way about people who watch My Little Pony? Who play Little Big Planet/Mario? Etc...

i bought a gameboy color and i bought it specifically for one game, guess what game is that?

i dont know about my little pony since i never seen anything regarding the show. i know a lot of adults watch it but thats about it so i cant really comment.

i played mario in the past and loved it and that really isnt a secret, i also enjoyed littlebigplanet a lot. while i do see these games as games desgined for children mostly i do understand why adults would love them, they are fun to play, its as simple as that. but with pokemon the main draw are the pokemon them selfs, which are created with children in mind and created to appeal to children, the look, desgin and art style are just for children, there is no denying that, and i know for some odd reason people will take that as a personal offensive but it really isnt, its just a reality and there is nothing wrong with it. the other thing are the characters, which are (from what i remember) children or teens, not really something adults would enjoy playing as.

i tried playing pokemon on my gameboy a few years back (it still fucking works!) but i just couldnt, it was something that i outgrown and i couldnt understand why others couldnt see that its for children. this is coming from an animator who works on 3d cartoons, loves cartoons like spongbob and tom and jerry and loves 3d animation films like tangled and brave

i havent lost my innocence, i still love a lot of stuff that are directed for children, i enjoy pretty much every cartoon i watched as a kid (expect scooby, flinstones and jetsones maybe ohh and pokemon ). i still consider loin king as one of the best movies ever made and i do love timon and pumba.

my dislike for RPG's happened with my transition in interests in video games between the end of last gen and the start of the current one where i started liking more fast paced games. FYI i did finish pokemon on my gameboy like atleast 3 times and spent dozens of hours playing it

I SAID YOU LOST YOUR INNOCENCE AND NOW YOU SHUT UP.

And Lion King sucks, it's way better The Usual Suspects.

So you don't understand why people would like Pokemon yet you like SpongeBob?

I think you also kind of made a fumble. You said you can see why adults would play LBP and Mario; fun. But isn't that why you like SpongeBob? It's fun/funny? Maybe that's why people like Pokemon, it's fun. You also tried to re-play a GameBoy Color Pokemon game, that's also your major problem. :P

And don't take this as an attack on you. It's not, believe me...!
