For some weird reason, most of the time i go to the front page. About 3/4 of the page is covered by grey lines and strips, covering up the news, the latest charts and the top threads at that time. This weird glitch has happened on both Google Chrome and Internet Explorer and it's getting quite annoying now, its been like this for the last few days. I just wonder if this has affected anyone else? I would take a snapshot if i knew how to. 

yes the same, i now have to go straight to forum as i can see anything its all lines.
also that advert that now comes up when you enter the site on a phone is driving me mad. every time i click close ad it just takes me to the App Store.

ioi sort this site out. its getting stupid. users will leave if you can't provide a smooth experience for them. why s there been a glitch on the main page now for about 2 weeks? why after YEARS is there no App for the site or even a mobile version? I'm sick of it.

I mostly use firefox so I don't really have any problems. I just tried it on both my ie and chrome and had no problems though.

Agreed the close up pics ad is the most annoying thing

I have the same problem with IE. I have to reload 3-4 times to get the front page to load without any gray lines..

It works if you turn off Javascript.

This is a terribly coded/designed/optimised site though, no wonder many don't take it seriously =/
