Forums - Sony - Is Playstation Plus worth it? These Are The Games You’d Have for $50 if You’d Subscribed Last Year

How will this work on the PS4?

Early in the gen they won't have games to offer I would think.

Yes. It makes onls sense when already many games are available.

I really understand its a great value to some but to me its alright. The only thing I love about PSN+ is the discount on sale items making it more cheaper and I personally don't like to rent digital games. Not going to renew it when my free 15 months is up.

This is the main reason I have a ps+ to begin with.

That is why I consider the "free" games to be free.

How did you manage to get 15 months free?

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

I upgraded my original fat PS3 recently with the White Super Slim PS3 that came with a free 12-months PSN+ subscription and I use it during the period when you get a free 3 months first time members. Which is weird because I was not a first time member, I had PSN+ two years ago and then cancel it.

It is only valuable if they are games you want.
I subscribed for 3 months after that E3 when they had Infamous 2, Saints Row 2, LBP2, and Borderlands.

I subscribed for the first time two months ago, and I can safely say I will continue to renew for years to come. I got Demon's Souls running in front of me as we speak.

i like it,also like a renting service seeing as some of us like me don't even have shops that sell games in our towns anymore and get to play games i wouldn't normally go out and buy but will download it

wonder how they decide games like hitman as that is quite new, wish we knew how many subscribers there are

the best deal i have got off psn though was for the music unlimited pc/psn premium for £13 for a year a real bargain as i'd never pay monthly for stuff like that, did anyone else grab that one and i hope they have more offers for that

i wish they would give us a few movie rentals a month too but i always say that

                                                                                                                                        Above & Beyond

Considering getting this since I'm a new PS3 user. Since I'll be switching to PS4, hopefully this thing will carry on as well to the new console.

Dead or Alive 5
Uncharted: Golden Abyss
Gravity Rush
KoF XIII

All of these free that I would have bought.

Resident Evil 6 discounted down to 14 dollars, lol

Not to mention all other discounts, free games that were nice surprises (Thomas Was Alone, Guardians of ME), priviledges like Cloud Saving etc.

Can't get a better deal than PS Plus, even better if one has both PS3 and PSV. My games won't ever expire anyway, I don't plan on ever stop being a member unless I quit game or Sony goes under or something like that.

It depends on who you are and what you think is worth it. I believe there is no right or wrong answer here. To some people it is worth it and to others it isn't, that is really all I can say about it.
