Just like any other fandom. Take the movie "Shining" for example, this analysis is longer and deeper than most people's bachelor thesis and it isn't even finished yet. You can interpret any amount of bullshit into any given source.

I agree, I do the same with the things I love. I remember being obsessed for a while about a DISTRICT 9 sequel, thinking about the plot of the first one and that kind of stuff...
