Forums - Microsoft - Im scared that Microsoft is gonna be showcasing Kinect 2 a lot at E3

My guess is that if there will be in fact a lot of Kinect talk it will be in the coming presentation and not at E3.
It will be best for them to show the press how they handling the next generation, now, right from the get go, then at E3 where most of the impact is gone and people will naturally expect more of a games show.

This is why I didn't care much for Nintendo canceling their conference. There's plenty of laughs left from Microsoft's.

oddly the xbla haunt was actually pretty good kinect wise.  it showed how rise of nightmare could have been better.  it was just too short.  although i think metacritic sucks with a lot of junk reviewers whose only purpose is to troll even it has a 70.  which in kinect terms thats a 90 lol.

steel batallion couldve been great if it was a good game all around. the control mechanics needed a little tweaking.  all they had to do was create 9 zones and map them in the corner of your screen showing where they are according to your body. without that most people that failed at it just suck.

Well, not sure of that as their reveal conference will just be one hour long

Considering there dozens of ways to get news of core games to gamers, but E3 is about the only time the mass media pays attention to gaming, you can bet Kinect 2.0 will be very prominent in their presentation.

Even moreso because of WiiU. That is: They do not want to repeat Nintendo's mistake of not sufficiently explaining it's a new system and why people should be excited about it. And more significantly, Nintendo has completely dropped the ball, WiiU isn't being picked up by the Wii crowd so that's tens of millions of buyers MS will be looking to get to buy 720 instead.

Yeah, i'm a bit concerned about this, but hopefully Microsoft balance the two. I honestly do not know what to expect from this reveal, i just hope it is good

I actually dont have a worry about ps4, its just price with them, i feel pretty confident they will deliver. But microsoft... not so suTre

There probably will be alot of Kinect titles at E3, but that might not necessarily be a bad thing. You might be impressed by what you see.

And you can bet core games will be there. Ever since Kinect was first shown people have been fearing microsoft will abandon the hardcore, they won't, but understand that even core games will have some kind of kinect integration.

Microsoft will try to push some kind of kinect integration in every game where possible just like they did with achievements and online play.

I've stated that 100's of times.  Unfortunately we are on forums where people exagerate as much as possible to fit there agendas.  That and many people are misinformed about many subjects.

They've actually 2 Kinect games... The last one was released in 2011, so I wouldn't be super surprised if they actually has made a new hardcore IP to show us this year... I mean, they ain't done nothing the last 2 years... Something's up

That something being the people who use slective infomartion to fit their agenda. How about we look up the 2 core games thye were hiring for. You know the action adventure game and the FPS.

Totally agree, May 21st is the event that only the hardcore will see, E3 is for mainstream press so Kinect 2.0 this and that.
