Forums - General - How much is a social life worth to you?

Communication is part of our very genes. Along with eating communication is instinct upon birth. Nearly all crazy deranged people lack some social life and it tears their mind up.

Yeah this seems like a spambot or worse.....Netscape trying to buy our souls via optimum pricing! Don't give them the economic knowledge!

OT: 100 Million Billion Brazillion dollars!! ...Yup, that should throw them off.

I like being alone, but I can't imagine my life without friends. In my opinion everyone needs a little social interaction.

Depends on what you mean by social life. I used to go out 5 nights a week, often crashing at someone's house or not getting home until 4-5am. I did a lot of crazy stuff, met a lot of crazy people, and didn't even realize that I wasn't really enjoying very much of it. Then I tore a tendon in my ankle, couldn't go out for a long time, and a lot of the calls stopped coming. I found out who my friends actually were.

Now I don't care if I ever go to another social function again, as long as I can meet a couple of friends once in awhile to watch a football game or just chill out.

Like many have replied its priceless. You should surround yourself with people who are important to u, its a healthy lifestyle and its important for any human being development. Social skills and interaction are important and very rewarding too.

When I have to make the decision of possibly going from $45k to $35k, yes, this is a question people in employment have to ask. R/l folks throws odd things at you, so was just wanting to gather people's opinoons.

A social life is priceless. No amount of money can replace human contact. Is this the sort of society we are heading for? Kinda scary... We are a bit high on the green bills i think. Money is certainly blinding some of us

I agree a social life is priceless, but nevertheless, see above and that should clarify why things aren't perfectly clear in what decision to make.
