Forums - Sony - Watch Dogs Will Include 60 Minutes Of Exclusive PlayStation Content

The additional content will be released post-launch as a digital download, the publisher told Eurogamer.

"We can confirm that customers who will purchase Watch Dogs on PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 will be able to download 60 minutes of additional gameplay via the PlayStation Network after the game's launch," a Ubisoft spokesperson said. "As of now, we have no more details to share."

It's kind of misleading about "exclusive" content. My guess is that it's for 360 and the new xbox as well. They just can't say anything yet as the system hasn't been offically announced!

It is the same deal as the Copernicus DLC for AC:Brotherhood and Benedict Arnold DLC for AC3, and those still haven't showed up on XBOX.  personally I think it is pretty unfair to give one console exclusive story-content

Not hugely important. I somehow failed to install the AC III content before I threw away the code, didn't really bother me

I guess it is nice, but I always wanted it to show off my PS4 at launch

This has happened before with other games and seems to be something Sony is doing to counter Microsoft's timed exclusive DLC initiative. This has shown up with LA Noire, Assassin's Creed, Batman, and several others.

I don't really like this or timed exclusives but it's hard to blame Sony in this case. The ones truly to blame are the publishers who value a bit of extra coin/promotional consideration over their customers.

Exclusive content for AC3 and now for Watch Dogs. Ubi seems to be in good terms with Sony.

mehh, i think microsoft and sony should both stop with that shit. i mean, since both pay for exclusive stuff there is no advantage anymore for one of both companies which means they could also both stop with it and use the money for more important stuff.

i mean, what do we customers have from that? not sure what sony and microsoft pay for that but it will be a decent amount and in no way an investment which is good for us.

microsoft get's ea, sony get's ubisoft.. will be interesting

Yup. It is a pretty horrible trend nowadays.

It's better than the whole game being exclusive for 1 platform I guess
