I agree with all 3 even though I did enjoy Ascension and the MP is fantastic and unique.  I just drool when I think of a Norse GoW on PS4.  I'm really hoping Sony goes this route with the new gen and Kratos all taken care of story wise.  New protagonist, new setting, new enemies just like Infamous Second Son.

Have a nice setup for quite a time and just finished Tomb Raider plat 2 days ago with no problem

I don´t like that Kratos thinks he´s Nathan Drake...really, there´s way too much climbing.

I like the game, give it 8/10, but it really is the weakest God of War I´ve played.

I just got done with a GoW marathon with the GoW saga. So I'm not likely to get Ascension any time soon. But really I think this franchise is done. Kratos had a story, and it's time to come up with a new mythological hero(ine) to slice and dice in bloodthirsty glory.

I'll probably get Ascension at some point, because the demos I played were fun but I really don't feel the need for any more games about Kratos.

I don't agre with you on gameplay but the story is garbage compared to the others indeed.

Totally, those sequences were not GoW-like.   And did you notice that when you climb you cannot climb back down.  It's a grab, live with it...

To each his own then. I beat this game on hard and very hard without any trouble, and I think it is one of the best campaigns in the series. The story isn't strong, I admit, but it more than makes up for that in the gameplay department (which is definitely the best in the series).

Stop complaining. Just be glad it came out on ps3 with those visuals instead of a psp title. I was more pissed off with the fact because iwent in the game thinking it was a big budget game like gow3, when it was more like the psp games. I was sad when it ended , i thought i was halfway through the game. From the start they should have made it clear that ascension isn't o nthe same level as gow3, but more like a lesser budget psp gow game.
