What shits men is they sold 2million+ wii's gamecube barely sold 176K, so they should have funds. Rumor has it they waste all their money and are in debt lol.
I agree with you, I love supporting the local economy but if they cant deliver they should just pull out of the game and tell us to purchase from UK lol
What i like about Nintendo is that they acknowledge the problem and do something about it. I wanted to see an atitude like that from Sony about the Vita. Publish those japanese games in the west Sony!
Seriously, Nintendo is pushing it the longer this goes. . .
What's even worse is that the media is making it much more worse than it is, much less the "gamers" out that are fairly narrow minded. -_-'

And proud member of the Mega Mario Movement!
First off he clearly recognizes the problems Wii U has. It has no distinct identity among mass consumers and no games (for the most part) in the first quarter of the year has killed is holiday momentum.
The second half of the year MUST be filled with games and amazing marketing. Otherwise they won't turn it around. I for one feel they will do this and approach 10m by the end of 2013.

Same here, I got tired of their neglect and EB Games' daylight robbery prices years ago.
Anyway, at least Iwata is aware of the problem. I was beginning to wonder if Nintendo even understood why Wii U wasn't selling.
The fact that he recognizes the Wii U's problems is a good sign. Now they just have to release some great first party games, help consumers understand the difference between the Wii and the Wii U, and build momentum for the console.
