KNACK is the only first party game that looks potentially appealing to me. Fair enough if people are excited about infamous and/or killzone but those series are not enough (for me) to rush out and buy a console over (actually infamous is an almost/maybe depending on what people say about it). Mind you I rarely use my sony console's for first party games, so it'll depend on the 3rd party lineup (most of the 3rd party games I'm interested in are coming to current gen consoles so that's also killing the incentive a bit). A new 'real' ape escape game would be nice

Wow, that seems very expensive! If MS undercuts the PS4 a lot, it may have trouble competing against the Nextbox.
But a strong launch lineup is great!

Vita's launch lineup was pretty strong too but it didn't do much. Here's hoping they have the price and future releases to back it up.

That's great and all, but not a particularly high bar...

Playstation systems are great, but they have never opened up with a good launch lineup. PS2 had an excellent 1st year in terms of exclusives, but what released day 1? Midnight Club and.....Madden? PS1 opened with with Rayman, and PS3 had Resistance.

However I'm not worried, Sony has always pulled through after some time.

I agree with you but at the same time, i feel like sony is trying something different this time.  Probably won't have the best launch titles in history but still confident that they will deliver a better launch lineup than prior launches.  At the moment, everyting indicates that sony is really listening to the gamer and developers and that is a good sign.

not that it would be a graphical leap by any means, but it would be freakin sweet if stick of truth was on ps4 at launch.

How many games will you all get with your PS4 Day 1? I'm currently thinking of getting 2, maybe 3. Depends on what kind of bundles there is aswell, I suppose.

If I buy one day 1, I'd probably get 2 games with it like I did with PS3 (that I did not buy day 1).

If I do I'll get 4 ... Killzone, inFAMOUS, Knack and DriveClub. Watch Dogs later.

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

Let's wait, every recent console has been saying that, and they've been mostly underwhelming. Watch Dogs is not a next gen game, so don't know why anyone would buy a PS4 for that. I'm hoping more games like Uncharted and God of War in the first year than Resistance and average racing games.

Also price wise, $400 is ok, $500 is borderline expensive! Might wait for a pricecut then!
