Wait...wasn't the Nintendo fan logic that graphics don't matter and dont affect sales? You know that next gen if the Wii U even gets versions of the game theirs will be inferior as well right? I mean it just wont change, Nintendo is always behind. The only reason they'll get a fair shake is because the current gen consoles are still selling strongly and they'll most likely reveal their next COD at E3.

lol you think the only difference was graphics?

BTW...

Wii x 20 + severalTechnologies = PS360.
WiiU x 5 = PS4/neXtBox.

Big difference this gen son.

So much fuss for a Wii U version that'll sell maybe a few hundred thousand tops, lol. What's Black Ops 2 on Wii U at?

Nintendo fans make a big fuss on the internet about having things like Black Ops2, GTA, Assassin's Creed, etc. but don't bother to buy the games when they actually do come out.

Compared to its userbase, its sold just fine. Can't expect millions out of  a sub-3m userbase sir.

What about last gen? COD was among the least popular games on the Wii U. Things that work for PS3/360 owners don't work for Nintendo.

In that situation, you're comparing a COD Wii game that is greatly inferior to the PS360 versions. In WiiU that no longer exists and adding in offtv play along with not having to have split screen allows a few reasons to make WiiU's version superior.

you are wrong, any game in any Nintendo console is automatically inferior and doomed. This is the logic of vgchartz

As I told him, the general consensus is that graphics don't equal sales. If the Phenomenon does not reach Nintendo in sales within the next two years, I think Nintendo will get cut off when the true next gen versions come out. Its probably going to get cut off on principle anyway, but at least the Nintendo fans will have an argument then. Nintendo fans defend Nintendo but they must realize the reason for Nintendos issues with third party devs is really all Nintendo and selfishly making console specs for themselves and leaving third party to figure things out for themselves. The problem with that is third party dont need to make exclusives for Nintendo anymore, they have their own aspirations and agenda. In Nintendo's world everything is Nintendo-centric.

Wrong...the ram is 7x more powerful + the Amd graphics cards are much, much better. I don't want to get into this again but look up the Wii U specs and 360, and it basically edges out the 360 in RAM and graphics. Techwise the Wii U isn't next gen, its Nintendo's next gen, so really theres no reason to make excuses for them. People have already checked the specs.

this is probably the reason for the delay.

we had multiplat PS2/GAmeCube/Xbox and we had a big diference between then, so why not make multiplats for pS4/wiiU/nextbox? This time is not like Wii x PS360. Third party just don't want and, of course, Nintendo has some fault but not all fault. WiiU has good specs, the "problem" was just Sony to bring even more that people expect.

The PS2 was inferior to the Gamecube in graphics, but the PS2 held 8GB's on each Disc and the Gamecube held like 1GB on its disc. The Xbox had basically the same amount of space on their discs as the PS2. Nintendo refused CD's and they lost third parties in a major way because they claimed it would lead to piracy (in the N64). They were always the last to truly push tech capacity. The original PS was the same issue because Sony was pushing tech and Nintendo wasn't despite being graphically inferior.

As for Sony bringing more than people expect, they always do, but its not always by graphics and power. Sony's strategy to gain third party attention is unparallelled which is why for the fourth gen they will have steady third party support. Nintendo only enjoyed steady third party support for two gens hasn't picked up their dragging feed in three gens. Even Microsoft learned how to get in third parties good graces and thats how to basically made themselves and HD equivalent to the PS3 making it hard for people to choose between the two. People are now forced to weigh the pros and cons between the Playstation and Xbox.

This time the Wii U is not only anemic in graphics but also in ram compared to the other next gen consoles. The Wii U disc is the most impressive thing, that disc can hold quite a bit of space. I mean its no Blu Ray, but still its impressive for Nintendo.

You forget I've had an on-going comparison thread for well over a year now right?

RAM isn't everything sir. Its 5x or at best 6x total difference. Plus WiiU does tech PS360 cannot as well as being more powerful. So yeah... next-gen will be similar to PCs low/mid vs high/max settings, but the games should be there unless they all pull a EA. (who I think will come back in 2014)

Nope.

Wii U has 2 GB of Ram DDR3

PS3 has 8 GB of Ram DDR5

Both relinquish 1GB of ram for other processes. It's 7x.  The graphics card is also a major part and good lord is it more powerful than the Wii U. Theres no way around this. The next gen consoles will run circles around the Wii U.

omg.... ok. Go to my thread. Look at full picture not just 1GB vs 7GB for games.
